Ginger Tea
Yield: Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 6 thin slices of ginger root, peeled
- 1 1/2 cups water
- fresh lemon juice to taste
- honey to taste
Instructions:
Place the ginger slices and water in a small saucepan.
Cover and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for about 7-10 minutes. For stronger ginger flavor, let it simmer longer.
Remove from heat. Pour the tea through a strainer into individual cups. Add fresh lemon juice and honey to taste.
