Tilapia Pesto

Tilapia Pesto

Tilapia Pesto is one of my favorite seafood recipes; it is simple but so delicious. You can make it with any kind of fish you like.

Ingredients

  •   2 tilapia fillets (about 350 g)
  •   1/3 cup basil pesto sauce
  •   1/2 cup sour cream
  •   cooking spray
  •   salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

Mix the basil pesto sauce and sour cream in a bowl.
Wash the tilapia fillets and pat dry. Season both sides of tilapia fillets with black pepper (and salt if the pesto sauce is not salty).

Preheat oven to 390°F.
Grease the bottom of a baking dish lightly with cooking spray. Place the tilapia fillet in the baking dish and spread the sauce mixture all over the fillets.

Tilapia Pesto Preparation

Place on the middle rack of the oven and bake until cooked through,
about 15-17 minutes. Serve immediately.

Makes 2 to 3 servings.
